Prescription Medication Assistance

• Prescriptions must be filled at one of the two Giant pharmacies in Bethesda
• Provides limited supplemental financial assistance when funds are available

• Case management services and financial assistance for rent and security deposit available 
• Conducts initial screening over the phone; in-person support provided as needed

• Helps with medications, transportation, in-home support, food, clothing, household and personal care items, in-home modifications, and supplies

• Assistance limited to once per year

• Provides up to $100 for prescriptions and between $125 to $150 for other financial concerns 
• Assistance is limited to once every 12 months

• Provides medical benefits to eligible individuals who cannot afford to pay their medical bills 
• Cash assistance is available for eligible children, parents, and other relatives of those who qualify 
• Offers assistance to residents who are totally disabled and cannot work for a minimum of 3 months
• Emergency cash assistance is provided once a year to families with children for court-ordered evictions, foreclosures, utility cut-offs, and burial assistance
